"Hello friends, musical family, and patron of the arts,

As we gather for the holiday season with our loved ones, please note Mid-Columbia Musical Theatre’s upcoming annual event, the Mid-Columbia Arts Fundraiser (MCAF).   On Saturday February 9, 2019, we celebrate a bygone era with the rat-packed theme of “The Best Is Yet to Come.”

Following the premise of our upcoming show Guys and Dolls, we invite you and your pals to join us for a night more wild than any prayer meeting could be! Whether as a party goer (purchase a table or individual ticket), volunteer, sponsor or by making a donation (either monetary or an auction item--think of dodging those long return lines) this night of crooning and sparkly fun will be even better with your support. Perhaps invitations to this party bring life to your stockings?  Gifts need returning? Turn them into gifts of donations to the silent auction! There are so many ways to make this night a success!

This is our community’s largest fundraiser, allowing MCMT, Mastersingers, Mid-Columbia Ballet and the Symphony to operate for the upcoming season.  Included are answers to questions you might have. Please join us as we, and our fellow art groups, work to support culture in our community for another season.

AUDITIONS: The Mystery of Edwin Drood

Save the Date to audition for a choose your own adventure, steampunk, musical! (NOTE: New Audition Process)

Auditions for The Mystery of Edwin Drood presented by Mid Columbia Musical Theatre are coming next month!

The Mystery of Edwin Drood takes the audience on a lively romp through the last story that Charles Dickens ever wrote, and never finished! This mystery remains unsolved and the audience must vote each night to solve it! If you enjoy upbeat, lively performance with a flair for the dramatic and audience interaction, then this is the show to audition for! Performance dates are November 9/10, 16/17, 23/24 (yes, that's the weekend after Thankgiving). Rehearsals will begin September 4th.

**NEW AUDITION PROCEDURE BELOW**

Sign up is required for an audition spot. In an effort to be as efficient as possible and respect everyone’s time, we are initiating an audition sign up and auditioning in groups. Please use the form at the link below to sign up for a time slot here. 

If you would like to save registration time on the evening of auditions, please download, fill out and email your audition form to the email address listed on the form up to one day prior to auditions. Audition forms are available here.

Be prepared to do a cold reading from the script, sing something*, and do some choreographed movement. If you’re not a “dancer” please don’t worry! This show is all about wacky vaudeville action and the choreography will be matched accordingly.

*More information will be sent out about song requirements within a few days, but please sign up for a slot so we know where to send that info! (If you get it and change your mind, you can always let us know, but it’s better to be signed up than not!)

Come Together as the Mid-Columbia Ballet, Mid-Columbia Mastersingers, Mid Columbia Musical Theatre, and the Mid-Columbia Symphony proudly present the third annual Mid-Columbia Arts Fundraiser, "All You Need Is Love," an evening with the FAB FOUR! 

We're throwing the fundraising bash of the year among Strawberry Fields, Octopus' Gardens, and Penny Lanes!

You'll enjoy live, silent, and online auctions, drinks and dinner, fun side events, dancing, costume contest, and a live performance featuring all four Mid-Columbia arts groups showcasing music from The Beatles.
